For several years now training programmes including the term “insurance” in their title have tended to focus on law, finance or risk management.

What makes this Specialised Masters Programme (MS) different is first of all the fact that it covers financial, commercial and legal dimensions, thus meeting the recruitment requirements of the sector resulting from the inversion of the age pyramid. Indeed, this MS trains and turns out managers for the insurance sector (which must not, as is too often the case, be confused with the banking and finance sectors), fully equipped to meet the needs of the companies in this sector which have placed their trust in us.

A second original aspect of the MS is its pedagogical system, bringing together the talents and know-how of a leading management school, Burgundy School of Business, and the acknowledged professional resources and teaching expertise of an acclaimed name in this field: the “Institute de Formation de la Profession de l’Assurance” (Training Institute for the Insurance Profession), formerly the “Groupe Ecole Nationale d’Assurance”).

This MS is thus the fruit of a meeting between the needs of the profession and two entities which have worked successfully together to prove equal to the major challenges facing the sector in the years ahead: training tomorrow’s insurance managers and promoting dynamic networks throughout the country.

Another original aspect lies in the possibility of following the Programme on a part-time basis (which means you can finance your studies by combining them with a work placement or a job), and in the fact that the teaching takes place in Paris and Dijon. One tends to forget that Burgundy is only 90 minutes from Paris on the TGV and this is an excellent opportunity to discover the many advantages of this kind of organisation.
