What does it cost to take the MSc Wine Business programme?

Assuming that all entry conditions are satisfied by the applicant, all expenses pertaining specifically to the programme are covered by the costs of tuition, which were 9000€ in 2009. The 2010 figure will be increased in response to the demand for this programme, and the need to attach a higher value to the quality of the learning experience for those who learn from this experience. The new tuition fees will also incorporate a pool of part-scholarship funds, which will be awarded to applicants based on merit. This new figure will cover the costs of any excursions; access to relevant texts, scientific literature and wine sector databases. For each module requiring a text-book, the library will hold a number of copies for students of the programme. Of these, at least half are reserved for viewing only within the library. Although we encourage students to purchase their own copies for their professional libraries, no-one is compelled to do so.

What are the costs of living like in Dijon?

Specifically, Dijon is less expensive than Paris, but more expensive than living in Clermont-Ferand. Essentially, it is difficult to estimate the costs of living accurately for any prospective student. Further, the costs of travel to France, and associated living expenses are not included in the costs of tuition. As one can imagine, an estimate of what one might like to spend on such expenses is quite difficult to make, given the varied interests and wealth of any one student. Instead of making an estimate on such costs, the applicant is asked to get in touch with Klaudia Twarog, the International Development Officer, who is best prepared to estimate a cost of living account for prospective students.

What are the application deadlines for the MSc Wine Business programme?

European students require less preparation in moving to and living in France, due to the regulations of the European Union. However, students from outside of the EU often require an extra three months to ensure the processing of their student visa. Accordingly, EU students need to have submitted their application and fee payment by the 31st of August 2010, to be prepared to start the programme on Monday the 4th of October. An orientation programme will be conducted in the week prior. Students from outside of the EU have (at the very latest) until Friday the 2nd of July to apply for the 2010 intake.
