Mission and objectives

 

Our mission is to give to current and future managers a quality education based on our research activities and to contribute to the promotion of our region.

As we have adopted an entrepreneurial approach and are open to international concerns, our training programs contribute to the acquisition of professional expertise that incorporates both the needs of companies and social responsibility.

 In this global mission, microfinance has a role to play in the following areas:

  • The development of the regional economy (Burgundy, France, Europe)
  • Entrepreneurship
  • International interests (vis-à-vis developing countries)
  • The needs of the business world
  • Social responsibility

The Chair in microfinance should provide funding to achieve various goals in the school’s action plan. These objectives can be divided into three categories.

  • Research
  • Education and training
  • Associations with microfinance institutions
