BSB's 2014 Graduation Ceremony
The record event took place on Saturday 22nd March 2014 at Dijon's Convention and Exhibition Centre
Burgundy School of Business' annual graduation ceremony took place on Saturday 22nd March 2014 at Dijon's Convention and Exhibition Centre. 67 French and international students of the class of 2013 were the guests of honour. The class of 2013 is the biggest in the history of Burgundy School of Business.
Graduates from all of the School's degree programmes attended: Bachelor, Master Grande École, Specialised Masters, MSc, Continuous Education. The School's Alumni Association, RéseauDi, was at the sides of its newest members.
2,000 people, including the graduates and their friends and families, attended the ceremony which, as always, was full of emotion. Twenty awards were given to the tops of the class of each degree programme.
A Company Creation Award was given to Christophe Bouhey, graduate of the Specialised Master in International Wines and Spirits, for his company Nice Wine.fr (offering a safe wine storage and wine ageing solution). An international award was attributed to Artur Lohinski, who was top of his class at Virginia Tech.
Xavier Mirepoix, President of Burgundy School of Business and of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Côte d’Or. He expressed his enthusiasm for the international dimension of the School which gives Burgundy true international exposure. Mr. Mirepoix also offered messages of optimism to the graduates. The opening was followed by inaugural speeches given by representatives of the Regional Council of Burgundy and the General Council of Burgundy.
