Microfinance award for Hayyan Alia

 University Meets Microfinance awards Syrian professor


Hayyan Alia, Burgundy School of Business professor and member of the Banque Populaire's Microfinance Chair, has just received an award from University Meets Microfinance (UMM) for his paper entitled "A Modified Household Economic Portfolio Model for Assessing Impact of Microfinance Using Diaries".

The award was given during the European Microfinance Week in Luxembourg in November 2014.

Each year UMM awards research linked to financial inclusion with the goal of promoting research activities and contributing to innovation and education in the field microfinance development.

This new award underscores the high quality that is research carried out by Burgundy School of Business' faculty.
