100+ international students on BSB's campus for annual Summer Programs (May-July)


15th Global Competitiveness Program with Ohio University

Mid-May is the start to Burgundy School of Business' annual two months of  Summer Programs. These short term programmes are tailor made for our international partners and offer their students the opportunity to be immersed in the local economic and cultural life.

8 students from Oklahoma State University kicked things off on May 13th. Their 2 week programme included a mix of classes, institutional meetings, cultural days and company visits.

 

A few days later, 17 students from Ohio University joined 17 first year BSB Master Grande Ecole students for the 15th Global Competitiveness Program. The Franco-American group worked together on consulting projects for 9 regional companies.

 

The program was launched in 2001, making it the longest-running short term program. In 15 years, 275 students and 42 professors from Ohio University and 270 and 48 from Burgundy School of Business have taken part in the programme and carried out 125 company consulting projects.

 

From 8th to 15th June, 23 students from Texas Christian University will be on campus for a program including classes, company visits and cultural excursions in the Beaune area.

 

From 29th June to 11th July, 30 MBA students from the network of California State universities will be welcomed. The first week will be spent in Dijon, followed by a week in Brussels focusing on European institutions.

 

Lastly, Burgundy School of Business will receive a group of 31 students 6th-7th July. The students come from around the world and have enroled at Manchester Business School for an itinerant European summer programme. The students will take classes about the European Union at BSB in addition to visiting companies.
