An international start to the academic year for the School of Wine & Spirits Business


13 nationalities in both MSc degree programmes of the SWSB

MSc in Wine Business and MSc in Wine Management students of the School of Wine & Spirits Business (SWSB) began their year on 14th September at the breathtaking premises of the Gilly-lès-Cîteaux castle.
 
Nearly 60 students and the whole of the SWSB staff were present, including the MSc in Wine Business' new director, Roberta Crouch, from the University of Adelaide.
 
Guest speakers launched 2015-16 with presentations and discussions: Robert Joseph, renowned wine industry specialist and journalist, MSc in Wine Management 2013-2014 graduate Maxime Provencel (Project Manager, responsible for individual client business development at Maisons & Domaines Henriot), and Jeffrey Snow (MSc in Wine Business, class of 2014-2015).
 

Very multicultural classes

The new MSc in Wine Business and MSc in Wine Management classes have a total of 55 students with 13 nationalities: 
  • MSc in Wine Business, 14 students with 9 nationalities: American, Austrian, British, Canadian, Chinese, Colombian, French, Norwegian, Swedish. 
  • MSc in Wine Management, 41 students from 7 countries: China, France, India, Italy, Kosovo, Russia and the United States. 

Students in the MS CIVS (Specialised Master in International Wine and Spirits Trade) will join those in the above mentioned degrees in November. The MS CIVS is the oldest French post-graduate degree dedicated to wine and spirits management and is ranked first in the category of "Luxury Managmeent Food and Beverage" by Meilleurs-Masters.com.
