New alumni network branch opens in London

Almost 40 ESC Dijon alumni currently live or work in the United Kingdom. On the 23rd March 2011 a restaurant in central London saw 20 of them come together for the first meeting of the London branch of Groupe ESC Dijon Bourgogne alumni association. Just 2 days before the official presentation in Oxford of the School's alliance with Oxford Brookes University Business School, this event confirmed not only the dynamism of the network of alumni, but also the importance of the School's presence in the UK at all levels.

Both Stéphan Bourcieu, Dean of Groupe ESC Dijon Bourgone and David Butet, President of RéseauDi (Groupe ESC Dijon Bourgogne Alumni Association), had the pleasure of officiating the launch in person of the "Club UK" of alumni of the School. During a livelydinner, the alumni were able to not only meet again and discuss the direction their career paths and professional practices had taken, but also learn of news from the School and the alumni network, and of the different projects underway. This latest branch, lead by Sophie Blanchet (Class of 2007), plans to meet three times a year.

Several similar international alumni branches already exist in Spain, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Morocco, China and Thailand.
