The Wine Management Institute presents a survey on more than 400 American and Chinese wine blogs
Thursday 29 March, Paris
For a year, the students of the Wine Management Institute (studying for the Mastère Spécialisé en Commerce International des Vins et Spiritueux and MSc in Wine Business) have been organising a large survey to list the wine blogs in the United States and China, and to draw up a typology of the bloggers. At the rate of about ten blogs per student, 400 have been analysed.
- To compare a mature market (United States) and an emerging market (China) in terms of consumption of and communication about wine, and to observe the practical differences,
- To measure the importance of new technologies and the new advisors of these blogs,
- To give viticulturists in France the tools to develop their digital communication,
- Create an inventory and a panorama of the wine blogs around the world, the intention being to extend the study to all geographical areas in the course of the next few years.
