BSB Bachelor and Master: putting excellence first
Strong increase in Bachelor student numbers and quality Passerelle competitive exam results
2nd year students of the Master Grande Ecole programme
The start of the 2012-2013 school year reveals premium student selection for two of Burgundy School of Business' flagship programmes: Bachelor Marketing & Business and the Master Grande École(MGE). The Masters Grande Ecole is opening its doors to 380 new students for whom the admissions criteria were the same as last year. BSB is particularly pleased with excellent results in the Passerelle and Pass World competitive exams. The Bachelor, the first joint programme of the strategic global alliance with Oxford Brookes University, is continuing to develop. There are more than 110 students in the first year, representing a near three-fold increase in four years.
In 2008, there were 40 plus students in the Bachelor Marketing & Business compared to 113 this year and 96 last year. The rise in numbers attests to the undeniable interest in the degree since the launch of the new joint programme with Oxford Brookes University in 2010. Indeed, our third year French students have been enjoying their studies on the English campus since mid-September.
The Master Grande Ecole:
The current context has led several schools to lower their admissions criteria in order to fill their ranks. However, Burgundy School of Business decided to maintain its selection criteria for both the prépas and Passerelle competitive exams and the latter had excellent results; fifteen plus additional students were recruited which brings the number of new students to nearly 250. In addition, 29 foreign students have chosen to study with us through the Pass World competitive exam, compared to 12 last year. Another clear indication of our international appeal.
Éric Panijel is the mentor of the MGE class of 2015.The CEO of Johnson & Johnson Santé Beauté France has already recruited around 15 BSB graduates.
