The Fourth Research Conference together with Oxford Brookes

Close to 70 researchers from both Schools will meet on June 24th in Dijon.

Since 2008, Burgundy School of Business has developed a unique global alliance with Oxford Brookes University Business School. Its aim is to forge a true European Business School of 4500 students and 150 international professors. The alliance is multidimensional with interconnections running through many aspects of the two institutions including all fields of study and research.

Following the success of the first three Research Conferences, held on an alternative basis in Dijon and Oxford, the fourth conference will be taking place in the historic capital of the Dukes of Burgundy on Monday June 24th. The objective of this annual conference is to develop knowledge of research work on both sides and to encourage the emergence of joint projects.

The Joint Research Conference has become an important academic event within the context of the alliance. Of the 70 participants, some 30 professors from Oxford Brookes will travel to Dijon to meet with their counterparts from Burgundy School of Business. Plenary sessions regarding joint programmes will be held, whilst parallel sessions covering specialist subjects will take place concentrating on the researchers' favourite topics.

For this new edition, a dozen or so joint projects will be presented on the following themes; wine marketing, responsible innovation, governance, experimental economy, microfinance, entrepreneurship teaching and multicultural management and innovation.
