9th edition of the "Summer School" with Texas Christian University
From June 9th to 14th Burgundy School of Business hosted 23 students from Texas Christian University for the 9th edition of the "Business in Europe" programme. During their stay, the American students were able to visit a number of companies from the region, as well as have lectures and take part in cultural trips, including one to Beaune.
At Burgundy School of Business, the international dimension is really strong and this type of multicultural experience on campus is an important factor. Besides, students benefit from an important and qualitative offer of academic semesters, double degrees, internship opportunities and a professional working year abroad (year out) which is perfectly integrated within their degree. They can take courses on the English track (completely in English), the German or the Spanish options, or even learn a third language.
A number of devices structure this international dimension: of course, the International Relations Office, but also the Internship and Apprenticeship Service as well as the international partners (110 partner universities, 40 double degrees) and Melting Potes the student society which aims at integrating international students. Finally, the Alliance with Oxford Brookes Business School, which has been in place since 2007, makes a real difference.
